The government has issued a number of gazettes, circulars and notices on various issues in the recent past, but they have become illegal, not implemented and are confusing to the people stated Member of Parliament of the NPP Anura Dissanayake. He pointed out that there is no market to buy goods at the prices pertaining to the gazettes issued by the government such as rice, coconut and sugar and that gazette notifications regarding sugar and coconut oil taxes have caused serious tax frauds. He said the cancellation of the permits to transport sand permit on verbal instructions of the minister was illegal.
